My name is Zainab and welcome to my blog. This is my first ever blog post - I'm so excited!!! If you would like to know what this blog is going to be about, you can look in the About Me section on this blog. But for now, I am going to be showing you one of the looks I've been loving at the moment and it is the smokey eye and pink lips.This is such an original look but it makes a big difference to your face.
For the smokey eye, I used the MUA Eyeshadow Palette – Heaven and Earth.
The reason for this is because of the amazing colours with all the browns and golds.This is a quick tutorial that I want to give you –
First of all, apply your highlighter. Your highlighter is the lightest of your three eyeshadow shades (for me this is the white shade, Aura). Using your eyeshadow brush, dab it on the inside corner of your eyelid on both your upper and lower lids. Sweep it directly under your eyebrows as well, from the beginning to the end of your brows.
Next, put on your medium shade and I used the Golden Sand shade. For me, out of this palette, this is definitely one of the best colours as it is so shimmery and it's just amazing!!! Take your middle eye shadow shade and sweep it over the rest of your eyelid (leaving out covering the white shade). Be sure to blend it at the inside corners with your highlighter, so that there isn’t a harsh divide between the two colours. Apply it upwards only to the natural crease on your lid, not all the way to the highlighter underneath your brows
Then, you can begin adding your darkest colour. Begin at the outside corner of your eyes, and sweep in a ‘C’ shape from the about halfway inwards (from the outside of your face) on the lash line, back up and around to about halfway inwards on the crease of your eyelid.
Lastly, I added my mascara to make my eyelashes long and..... better ;). For this I am using the 17 falsifeye hd mascara. And, just for a bit of sass, I added a cat flick.
For the lipstick, I used the Rimmel Kate Moss Matte Lipstick Soft Pink 101.
